Mike Acerbo is a singer-songwriter born in the Bronx and raised in Pearl River, New York. His debut album The Search, recorded over about ten years from 2001, was released on February 14, 2012; its opening track is “Trilby.” A second album, Dark Place, recorded at Sear Sound and MonoLisa Studios with Leah Coloff on cello and vocals and Rich Kulsar on drums, followed in July 2026.
Trilby
I played bass on “Trilby.” The first parts were recorded about a decade before the record came out, and I rediscovered my playing at the video release party in January 2012. On my old site the record was a conspiracy of its own.
