Mark Righter
Drummer of Number19, and a furniture maker.
Mark Righter is a drummer, percussionist and vocalist from New Haven, Connecticut, living in Brooklyn, and a founding member of the Harlem collective Casa Mantequilla. In 2004 he founded Cambium Studio, a furniture design and build firm now in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and he teaches part-time at Parsons School of Design.
Tony, Sarth, Leah Coloff, and Mark Righter formed Number19 in 1999. After we released Suspension, Tony went on to play with Puracane, and eventually form BM Linx.

Number19
He played drums in Number19, the band Tony Diodore, Leah Coloff and I formed in Brooklyn in 1999, and on its one album, Suspension (2001), which the band paid for out of mp3.com downloads. I met him by joining his band; we had both played in Mother Heavy, a funk-rock band, and he played in Gebbeth, my electronica-improv group, before Number19.
