[Rich Kulsar](https://www.monolisanyc.com/staff) is a drummer and percussionist working in New York since 1991, and co-owner of MonoLisa Studios in Long Island City. He won a Grammy in 2019 for Best Children’s Album as a member of Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats, played drums on [Leah Coloff](/conspirators/leah-coloff/)’s debut *Dark Sweet Heart* (1999) and on Mike Acerbo’s records, and his credits include Roger Waters, Micky Dolenz, Bruce Cockburn and Blood, Sweat & Tears.

## The Search

He drums on [Mike Acerbo](/conspirators/mike-acerbo/)’s *The Search* (2012), the record whose opening track, “Trilby,” has my bass on it. My old WordPress site had a conspirator page for him.
