# Gregory Cage

Guitar and laptop looping; In the Loop, with Mark Righter. I played with him, and he ran an Electrix Repeater.

Gregory Cage is a New York musician who played in In the Loop with [Mark Righter](/conspirators/mark-righter/), the drummer of [Number19](/conspiracies/number19/). In the Loop played the Warper Party at the Delancey on March 4, 2009, on the bill right after my set.

I played with him. He is one of the two people I played with who looped on an Electrix Repeater, the box I never used myself; the Electrix boxes I do use are the [Filter Queen](/devices/electrix-filter-queen/), the [Filter Factory](/devices/electrix-filter-factory/) and the [Mo-FX](/devices/electrix-mo-fx/).

## In the Loop

In the Loop was Gregory’s band with Mark Righter, who I had formed Number19 with in 1999. The Warper Party listing is the public trace of it; the rest is mine to write.
