# Lou Reed’s 2011 European tour

An eight-piece band across European festivals in the summer of 2011. I posted twice from the road.

## The band

By 2011 Lou was touring with eight people onstage. Alongside him: [Rob Wasserman](/conspirators/rob-wasserman/) on bass, [Kevin Hearn](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Hearn) on keys, [Aram Bajakian](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aram_Bajakian) and [Tony Diodore](/conspirators/tony-diodore/) on guitars, Tony Smith on drums, [Ulrich Krieger](/conspirators/ulrich-krieger/) on saxophone, and me on [Continuum and Kyma](/devices/), running multiple Pacas. It was a bigger band than the [one I joined in 2008](/conspiracies/lou-reed-song-band/).
